An Introduction to Dragon Boat Racing

Are you fun-loving, active, friendly and open to trying new things? If these words describe you, then we want you! Join us for a fun and EXCLUSIVE event JUST FOR WOMEN!

Last year’s event was so much fun, we are hosting our another Introduction to Dragon Boat Racing, given by Lisa Mercuro of the South Jersey Dragon Boat Team, where you will learn the basics of rowing, along with safety on the water, paddling skills, and communication. Then we'll all paddle out with our new skills.

Dragon Boat Racing is the fastest growing water sport in the world, inspiring an international movement in support of breast cancer survivors. Join us for what is sure to be an awesome good time! If you joined us last year, you know just how much fun this will be! Join us again…we will learn more and have even more fun!

Dress comfortably, wear sneakers. We will provide water, snacks and all that you need to learn, including life jackets.

We will meet at the club at 5:30pm for instruction, to be on the water by 6pm. We expect to be done around 7:30 pm, in time to enjoy the band playing for the club.
