What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived; it is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Meet Samantha:

I’m a plant, book, nature, music loving woman. I enjoy tending to my house plants and purchasing books that I don’t have tons of time to read, but that I will get to. You can often find me in the Garden Center, the park, a concert, or on a local tennis court in my roller skates.

Loyal, adventurous, and kind are three words that I believe my friends and family would use to describe me. I believe that “comparison is the thief of joy” and that the only way we can truly be happy in this life, is to be grateful for the lives we have. I find myself grateful everyday for my friends, my family, and my favorite girl, Maggie. Maggie is my 10-year-old beagle-Boston terrier mix who talks too much and cuddles link no-other. She is the greatest companion.

I’ve always been a hard worker who enjoyed putting down roots, taking on all of the projects, and then coming up with a few more because why not?! I love working around and with food, I always have, since I was just a little kid playing waitress, taking fake orders from my grandparents, and always coming back with cookies.

Be good.

My Journey To CURO

In the Summer of 2020, I first joined CURO Wealth Management and as August approached, I couldn’t see myself working without these wonderful, fun, empowering women. Luckily, they couldn’t imagine it either—so here I am! During my senior year, I worked part-time at CURO as their Financial Planning Intern, while attending Zoom lectures, one in-person night class, and a Saturday night gig slinging pizza at Cocco’s in Delaware County.

I graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 2021, earning my Bachelor’s in Business Administration (B.B.A) in Financial Planning, with a minor specialization in Human Resources. During my time at Temple, I was a member of the Financial Planning Association and also served as the Director of Communications during my senior year. I also spent way too many hours at the coffee hut and Maxi’s Pizza.

Being here, at CURO, makes me feel magical. Helping women, families, and people to change their lives for the better inspires me, and I feel like a mini superhero. Knowing that I get to help people live out their dreams, while living out my own, keeps me here.

Your graciousness is what carries you. It isn’t how old you are, how young you are, how beautiful you are, or how short your skirt is. What it is, is what comes out of your heart. If you are gracious, you have won the game.
