Guide for First Moves and Big Transitions

Caio brings a behind-the-scenes perspective to business owners and emerging wealth builders. Having spent more than a decade in mergers and acquisitions through roles in investment banking and private equity, he understands what makes a business valuable and what buyers look for, an executive's perspective on running a business, and how major financial decisions unfold long before a transaction ever happens.

Most recently, Caio worked in private equity, acquiring, growing, and selling small businesses. He has been involved in more than a dozen deals from both sides of the table, giving him firsthand experience with diligence, negotiations, risk assessment, deal structure, and the emotional weight that often comes with selling something you spent many years building.

For CURO clients, that experience is especially valuable. If you own a business, Caio can help you think clearly about how your company fits into your broader financial life, whether you’re growing, preparing for a possible sale, navigating an offer, or planning for what comes after. He brings a practical, grounded perspective without making the process feel overwhelming.

Caio is also passionate about helping younger professionals and families make smart financial choices earlier in life. He believes good guidance shouldn’t only begin after someone has already built significant wealth, but should happen earlier to ensure that financial goals are met. His goal is to help clients understand their options, make confident decisions, and build toward the future with intention.

Greatest Achievement

My greatest achievement is the life I’ve had the opportunity to build since moving to the U.S. from Brazil at eight years old;from a decade-long career in M&A to earning my MBA at Wharton. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, support, and people who helped make that path possible. I’m proud of honoring the village of family, mentors, and friends who supported me along the way, and I’m driven by becoming part of that village for others.
